This group “Casa Latina by Brasidas Strategies,” is a space where any new talent in progressive politics can few at home and as a collective, we can help young and talented progressives, find the job they have always wanted, without fear nor economic anxiety, and together, build a stronger and more equitable and more inclusive progressive front.
This space is both for, experienced and battle-tested political professionals to share their wisdom and insights (job searches, job search universe, interview best practices, housing opportunities, for young, talent, and etc.) and for talent to share, ask for help, hit a metric, land a goal, and navigate this market and ecosystem, knowing, that they are not alone.
This is a beta* (testing) space. This is also a shared space, where everyone is welcome. In our tradition, the Latino one, we are raised with these famous words and sayings. “Mi casa, es tu casa, lo mío es tuyo y donde vayas, siempre encuentras un buen amigo.”
The end goal is to curate and provide resources and tool-kits free of charge to our flank, foster new growth, and hopefully, develop a non-profit, with your help and Brasidas, that can provide job-relocation and job-opportunity grants to working-class talent, to ensure, every talented progressive can be hired, be housed, and have enough capital and spending dollars needed, to be able to relocate and wait for the next paycheck, without any fear nor anxiety. With hopes, we lift each other up, share out stories, build strong sorority and fraternal bonds, and slowly, shape, and change our 3/4 of a trillion dollar (non-profit and electoral) per year “change,” market and ecosystem, to be more inclusive, stronger, successful, live up to her labor values, and better.
