I went to The Catholic University of America as a non-Catholic and very liberal person. I immediately found community in the College Democrats on campus, they brought me on campaign trips to knock on doors during the 2008 election year, and the rest is history! Being in DC allowed me to intern during the school year and work for pay during the summers (I now of course pay all of my interns), and allowed me to meet some of my colleagues I still work with today in the campaign space. My internships exposed me to how my strength in math and logistics could translate into work on campaigns, and I immediately connected with compliance work on my first campaign in 2012 where I was a finance assistant. I went to pick up the checks at the PO Box, prepared them to be deposited at the bank, and entered them into the compliance software. Almost 15 years later, I have my own firm and train people on how to do this now.

I most recently served as Treasurer for Zohran Mamdani’s campaign for NYC Mayor. Within the NYC Public Funding system, we were able to play a key role in the campaign’s success by securing the maximum amount of public funds available within 2 reporting cycles which allowed us to topple a NY State Family dynasty.
