Political Advocacy Director – Montgomery County Young Democrats – 2018 – 2020
Provided a voice for MCYD members on the issues that were important to them. Drafted letters to Maryland legislators on current and upcoming legislation. Planned and executed lobby meetings with legislators. Responsible for staying up to date on various policy issues in Annapolis to communicate back to our board and membership.

Organizing for Action Fellow – Digital Content Production – 2016
Intensive training program focusing on the creative process behind producing content for a variety of digital platforms, with a focus on email and social media. As digital content becomes an ever-more essential piece for successful advocacy efforts, this program was designed for organizing professionals interested in building their digital skills and pursuing leadership positions in the progressive movement.

Precinct Chair – Montgomery County – 2016 – 2020
Volunteer position representing the Democratic Party in my precinct. Served as a presence during election day to distribute ballot information and answer any questions on ballot initiatives and candidates for office.

Activist – Video and Web Content Production – 2006 – Present
Write, produce, and edit video content to engage and educate the community on current issues.

Volunteer/Contractor – White House – 2010 – Present
Volunteer and contractor for various White House events including the White House Easter Egg Roll and Trick-or-treat at the White House. Volunteer in the Office of Presidential Correspondence assisting the department in taking phone calls and answering letters/emails from citizens to the President.

Member – Young Democrats of Radford University 2003 – 2005
Volunteer for get out the vote events and promoter of the Democratic ticket up and down the ballot. Advocated for progressive issues and supported Democratic candidates for office locally and nationally.
