Founding Partner of Moxie Media

Bio |
I had the privilege to take an unpaid summer internship at the DCCC after I graduated from college in 1991. I went on to work in many different roles with candidate and ballot initiative campaigns, and at a few political consulting firms, over the next decade. I helped produce a report analyzing “Year of the Woman” elections in 1992 on behalf of EMILY’s List; and helped produce television and radio advertising for federal and statewide candidates in 1994. I founded MOXIE in 1999.

Impact |
As the founding partner of MOXIE I have led our firm’s work on behalf of progressive candidates and causes. We have produced political strategy and direct mail programs to help elect hundreds of women, BIPOC, and LGBTQ candidates and help pass first-in-the-nation initiatives to legalize same-sex marriage, raise the minimum wage, prohibit discrimination against transgender people, provide paid family leave, and more. We have also made an impact by leading the industry in developing experiment-informed best practices for political direct mail.

Mission |
I aspire to continue breaking down barriers in the political consulting industry to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and justice, and to provide opportunities for people who have historically been excluded, undervalued, and underpaid.
