An Initiative to Support Progressive Talent
GAIN Power’s Democracy Talent Task Force is a post-election initiative that supports talent who worked in the 2024 elections. Our progressive movement flourishes because of the skilled and creative talent and passion of individuals committed to driving democracy. When elections are over we face a challenge ensuring the people who make our work possible are supported, celebrated, and connected to new opportunities. We aim to elevate programs, events, or resources designed to assist campaign talent, regardless of where it is hosted or organized. Together, we’re building a network to ensure the progressive ecosystem is more robust, sustainable, and ready to meet future challenges. The Talent Task Force is a tangible effort to tackle this persistent problem—and we need you.
How We’ll Work
As a member of the Talent Task Force, you’ll contribute to a collective effort to:
-
- Celebrate Talent: Promote and participate in staff appreciation events, webinars, and networking opportunities.
- Support Career Transitions: Highlight and create resources, including virtual career fairs, leadership webinars, and career development workshops
- Elevate Collaboration: Share and promote programs across the progressive space, ensuring resources reach our community.
- Strengthen the Ecosystem: Create a feedback loop, a place for strategic ideas and insights to ensure our efforts address real-world challenges.
This is a limited commitment—not a life one. Our post-election programs will last through March (Q1) 2024.
