Virtual Expo and Career Panels Day 1

Virtual

12:00pm – 4:00pm

We often say that “all politics is local” and it’s true! The work at the grassroots level is what creates movements and changes elections. Hear from our panelists who are making a massive impact nationally and in their communities. We’ll discuss the importance of getting involved early and what we can do on the ground to make change happen.

The 2024 election cycle has already begun as candidates across the country announce their campaigns and organizations gear up for the election year. While many political operatives look to join a campaign, there will be organizations and Democratic committees looking to staff up and hire for hundreds of positions too. We’ll hear from career professionals about what to expect from the committees and organizations going into 2024.

Candidates across the country are announcing their campaigns for seats in 2024. From President Biden to Congressional candidates to statewide seats, campaigns are publicly launching for the 2024 election year, yet the hiring timeline can feel mysterious. As political operatives look to the next campaign to join, it may seem like you need to know someone who knows someone to even learn who is hiring. We’ll get an inside look into 2024 campaign hiring and how to prepare.

Career panels with some of the biggest names in the industry will talk about the upcoming cycle, working in progressive politics, and making a career and a living doing what you’re passionate about.

We’re also offering our first Progressive Political Services Expo for Consultants, Vendors, Technology Companies, and nonprofit organizations that offer services to and programs for campaigns and advocacy organizations

All Democratic & Progressive identifying consultants, vendors, tech companies and nonprofit organizations are invited to showcase their products and services as well as any jobs they have to advertise. The online expo will open during our first event online for folks to browse and learn about these organizations. Consultants can staff the booths live or just submit materials to be included in it. Organizations and candidates can then stop by and visit consultants, campaign services vendors, and progressive organizations to learn about services and available jobs. Think of this as a virtual mall. Some organizations and firms may also have staff in the booth that you can chat with, some may not.
