| Bio | I developed an interest in politics in the mid-1990s while interning at KBOO Community Radio in Portland, Oregon. Since then, I’ve helped build audiences for progressive media with PDX Progressive Talk Radio and supported strategic communications and marketing efforts that contributed as communications and digital marketing strategies on IP 9, advancing campaign finance law at the state level in Oregon (Governor Koteck signed HB 4024 into law on April 3, 2024) In 2024, I served as a State Delegate for the Oregon Democrats, worked as Campaign Manager and Communications Lead for Kriss Wright (House District 23), and supported Moses Ross for Portland City Council with communications and digital marketing. I’ve also built websites for three candidates and completed Campaign School, on the Field Director track, with the Working Families Party of Oregon in 2025. |
| Impact | My impact bolstered communications infrastructure: building the platforms, messaging, and digital systems that help progressive campaigns and initiatives reach people at scale. I helped grow the audience for PDX Progressive Talk Radio first on Cable Access in Portland and then with KBOO Community Radio. | Mission | This cycle, I want to serve on a campaign or initiative team where I can own communications strategy, PR, and digital execution, building a narrative that’s consistent across earned media, field, and fundraising. I’m also intentionally leveling up my fundraising skills, especially donor communication, call time support, and digital fundraising strategy, so I can be more effective as a senior comms lead. Beyond this cycle, my goal is to grow into a Communications Director or Senior Strategist role that helps progressive candidates and ballot measures win by translating values into stories people trust, and building the systems that turn attention into action. |
