For example, though the organization is non-partisan, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Youth Council allowed me to expand my knowledge of politics and meet with local politicians. I currently hold an officer position in my school’s Young Democrats club and work on a campaign fighting for tuition equity for DACA and undocumented students with the education advocacy group Our Turn. |
