Bio

I first became involved in politics at the age of 16, at the height of the SB 1070 era in Arizona. Witnessing discrimination against our immigrant community, I took it very personally as I am from a mixed immigrant family. Since my family could not vote because of their immigration status, I decided to be involved on campaigns to be their voice and representation. My family definitely made one thing clear– I was not allowed to go to political protests and walkouts at my high school. I was determined to figure out another way to get involved, so I attended my first ever political canvass with my friend who was part of the Arizona Dream Act Coalition. Through there, I met many elected officials who told me I could make a change by connecting with voters at the doors. So after hearing these words of advice, I decided to canvass for the very first time and I immediately kindled my passion for organizing. Since then, I have been part of multiple electoral campaigns and efforts for the past decade. I am a widely resourceful, high-energy, and strategic campaign professional with a proven track record of being a part of winning electoral campaigns and efforts. I have developed and managed field and organizing programs for electoral campaigns, 501 C-3 non-profits, and political consulting firms. My work experience ranges from a wide variety of campaigns including: statewide initiatives, local city council and state house races, issue- based campaigns, congressional campaigns, and presidential campaigns. Most recently, I decided to start my own political consulting firm to continue the fight to elect more progressives women of color to public office. Please refer to my work history and experience for more specifics on the campaigns I have been a part of.

Impact

My track record of being a part of successful campaigns that have centered the experience of working families and communities of color in Arizona, has allowed me to be an integral component of changing the electoral landscape of latino democratic politics here in my home state. I have impacted change by historically increase voter turnout in one the lowest turnout districts in Phoenix, one of the top 5 biggest cities in the country. In the early stages of my career, I was a part of Arizona Congressman Ruben Gallego’s (CD-7) first campaign for congress, where we increased the latino voter turnout by more than 75%, since then it has been a deep blue democratic stronghold where Latinos continue to turnout more than any other congressional district in the state. The formula that enacted this change was helping manufacture one of the most robust and aggressive bilingual field programs that the state has ever seen for the past decade of the historical SB 1070 era. Since then, I have applied the same organizing formula and training program to mold more young organizers just like me to be part of winning campaigns. Most notably, because of this same formula I have helped elect Congressman Greg Stanton (CD-9), and most recently electing the youngest Iranian-American woman to ever be elected to Phoenix City Council. What made this campaign so remarkable was that she was an Iranian-American woman elected to the lowest turnout district in the city of Phoenix (District 7), comprised of a high latino population, at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Being a part of winning campaigns such as these, has motivated me to go towards the route of becoming a political consultant and opening up my own Latina-owned political consulting firm.

Mission

I want to become a notable political consultant working on local and nationwide races. As a Latina from a mixed-immigrant family, it has always been my dream to fight for better BIPOC representation in the political consulting space. I decided to become the change I have always wanted to see by becoming a Latina political consultant in hopes of inspiring more people like me to take up space in the consulting world. Through my political consulting firm, I aim to have at least 80% of my clients be women of color who are seeking public office.
