Hi everyone,

I recently joined this group through gain power and wanted to reach out to any active members in the communications department. I am new to the progressive political profession and extremely interested in Communications/Press/Social Media. If there is anyone who still receives these notifications and would like to offer any advice, recommendations on how to land a job in this field while living in Washington D.C., and or just overall guidance/mentorship… I would truly appreciate it. It is a goal of mine to obtain my Master Degree from George Washingtons Graduate program in Media & Public Affairs but until then, I’ll be learning through work experience and or trial & error.
