| Bio | Since 2017, I have dedicated myself to managing and consulting on progressive political campaigns at various levels, from local leadership to state representatives. As the owner of Crowell Campaign Management & Consulting, I’ve successfully led seven campaigns to victory since 2020, championing progressive values and policies. My work involves developing comprehensive strategies that resonate with diverse communities, coordinating with grassroots organizations, and leveraging social media and digital platforms to amplify progressive messages. I’ve honed my skills in strategic communication, volunteer management, and data-driven decision-making, all while working tirelessly to advance causes such as environmental protection, social justice, and economic equality. This experience has not only sharpened my political acumen but also deepened my commitment to creating positive change through effective, forward-thinking leadership. |
| Impact | The simple way to answer is that I have worked in every area of campaigns – from putting up yard signs to sitting in a room of potential large donors and presenting the reasons my candidate is deserving of their support…usually successful. I got my start at age eight…thanks mom…and have had the good fortune to work for candidates in whom I believe and trust and, frankly, like. In the last campaign cycle, I was hired to manage 5 campaigns for a suburban town outside of Charlotte. I built a team of candidates running against some right-wing nut jobs. Each candidate brought their own unique challenges and I had to work to support them 1-on-1 as well as running the slate with it’s collective goals. I won 4 of the races. I managed, corralled, built media, hand held, fought tooth-and-nail against our opponents, and celebrated our accomplishments. One opponent made particularly egregious statements claiming to be a veteran – isn’t – and researched the truth, organized communication with the media, and had my candidates put it in their talking points. Some of the community response was brutal. |
| Mission | Our political climate is screwed-up…big time. Sane and visionary leadership is called for to bring focus and direction. I offer that sanity. I have experience as an intuitive strategy builder, an experienced leader of staff and volunteers, and I have the ability to see the big picture and bring focus for both staff and the candidate. I can bring more victories for progressive candidates. It’s easy to stand behind platitudes when leading a campaign. That not my style. I believe that you get your hands dirty, tackle the tough stuff, and meet the good and the bad that each day presents. It is important to remember that victory is the ultimate goal. |
