I got my start in progressive politics, volunteering for a Local State senator reelection when I was 16. After that experience, I started volunteering on different campaigns. I made my major move when I got to college,  I was able to get a paid position on a campaign as a community organizer.  I started a local chapter of College Democrats on my campus. I got a national position as the HBCU Outreach Director.  I worked as a student’s advocate on many local government issues. I worked with tons of local people to create a lasting bond in my community.
