Progressive Profile

Current Occupation

Senior Global Policy Fellow

Bio

I currently work at the Institute on Science for Global Policy as a Senior Global Policy Fellow where I strive to incorporate well-informed science into public policy through internationally-held conferences and publications. I am a graduate of the International Studies program at the Department of Political Science at The Ohio State University. Upon graduation after two short years in 2020, I began my professional career researching and marketing in legal areas, acting as a research assistantship at the university, and most recently working as a Global Policy Fellow at an NGO. Currently, I work primarily on our energy program titled Global Pathways to Hydrogen Energy Futures (GPHEF) where leadership positions led me to run an international conference in Yokohama, Japan that would lead to a private publication and a presentation of our findings to the Japanese Minister of the Environment and representatives at the 2023 G7 Sapporo Summit.  I also recently spend a significant amount of time on our infectious disease program.

Impact

I have had the opportunity to influence policy by bringing together stakeholders, experts, and interlocutors in collaborative, international conference environments. Publishing our results, I have had the opportunity to deliver these results in publication-format to high-level decision-makers. From high-level governmental bodies home and abroad to the G7, I believe that I have had some level of impact on public policy.
