| Bio | I’m currently involved in Democrats Abroad Korea. We are building our chapter, reaching out to military and getting out the vote! I have presented on political messaging for the Global Women’s Caucus and I’m one of those progressive professors the right is afraid of! I teach such knee jerking topics as social movements and feminism and slowly building a cohort of woke students all over the world! (I’m really a very balanced educator like most professors). I first got involved in the dems as a telephone interviewer attending anti war protests in Ohio then Florida. I’m a Florida voter but live abroad until I relocate in 2024. |
| Impact | I’m currently building up the busan chapter of democrats abroad Korea with other like minded expats. I use my background in social movement theory in organizing to combine fun activities with opportunities to educate others on the dangers of right wing extremism. |
| Mission | I’d like to get down and dirty in a progressive campaign to ensure we don’t lose more blue seats and we hold onto the saner political solutions. The threat to our way of life and individual freedom has never (in my life) been more at risk than it is today. I want to channel that passion and dare I say anger into a hands on opportunity that will ultimately present an awesome experience to bring back to the classroom (if they let me back in). |
