| Bio | It all started in high school. A local bails bondman was running for sheriff. He asked me to volunteer and give out palm cards. One day he said he would pay me $5.00 per person who would commit to vote for him. I ended up making $350. I later went to South Carolina State University and majored in Political Science. While a student there, I led voter registration drives on campus and volunteered at the polls. Upon graduation, I worked on many local campaigns. Recently, I have worked on Jaime Harrisons US Senate race as his political director and as the Executive Assistant/District Scheduler for Congressman Clyburn. |
| Impact | While working for Jaime, I made sure to do things people usually don’t do. I spent time in places such as barbershop, pool halls and liquor houses. These are places people usually never go and they are just a group of people who want to be engaged. I also created a 46 county strategy (south carolina has 46 counties) and hyper local campaigning instead of doing a “one size fits all” campaign. People still ask for advice to this day about this style. |
