The game board is the most important part of Block Blast strategy.

Instead of thinking about individual blocks only, try to look at the board as a complete structure. Every placement affects the amount of space available for future pieces.

A common mistake among beginners is to place a block wherever it fits immediately. While this may work for a short time, it can create awkward holes that are difficult to fill.

For example, imagine that you have a nearly complete row with a single empty space. Filling that space may clear the line and create useful room. On the other hand, placing a large block in the middle of an open area might prevent you from completing several potential lines later.

Good players therefore think about block blast space management rather than simply finding somewhere to put the current piece.
